What is in Grandma Crunch?
Soy Protein Isolate
Soy is a complete protein, giving your body everything you need to build muscle. It has a protein digestibility score of 0.92 - ranking slightly higher than beef and the highest in plant protein sources. Our Soy protein is from a non GMO source.
Grandma Crunch is gluten free. We use pea starch replacement which is sustainably grown - making it a great choice for us!
Pea concentrate is high in protein & fibre. 10% of Grandma Crunch protein comes from pea protein. Pea protein is another complete protein source with a high digestibility score and also great sustainability.
While coconut oil is high in saturated fats. Most of these are medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which are rapidly digested and transported to the liver to be used as energy.
Cocoa powder is made from roasted and ground cacao beans. It gives our Cocoa and Peanut Brownie flavour.
Soy Lecithin is a natural by product from Soy oil, a It helps us mix and coat the cocoa powder and onto each Grandma Crunch ball.
We add a little bit of natural flavouring on top of the cinnamon to round out the flavour.
Grandma Crunch uses sucralose which is a zero calorie sweetener, We chose to use Sucralose as it has zero impact on your blood sugar levels.

Why is it more "expensive" than regular cereal?
Grandma Crunch is not a regular breakfast cereal. Instead Grandma Crunch is a high protein snack, which is enjoyed with milk. Specialist ingredients are needed in order for us to achieve our high protein, low carb ratio. Compared to the ingredients used in regular cereal, protein is an expensive ingredient and protein makes up 45% of Grandma Crunch! Let's break it down... Grandma Crunch is available from 83 cents per bowl making it similar, and often less expensive, compared to many protein alternatives such as protein yoghurts, porridge, protein bars. We think we're a great addition to the protein snack family!
Grandma Crunch is Soy based. Although Grandma Crunch Cocoa, Cinnamon and Coconut are not produced on the same production line as Peanut Butter Brownie, they are boxed in the same factory and may contain traces of nuts. Grandma Crunch is completely gluten-free.
Is Grandma Crunch Keto Friendly?
Grandma Crunch is keto friendly. We are low carb with under 6g net carbs per bowl and the sweetener we use, Sucralose, does not take you out of ketosis!
